The Argonite 5040.F is the most complex movement our watch team has ever assembled. This 45mm chronograph features three sub dials, a dual calendar aperture, fourth date hand and powerful, long-lasting battery.
Chronograph: A watch with stopwatch function to measure elapsed time while continuing to display conventional time, often using independent sub dials operated by start, stop and reset push-pieces.
This 45mm polished stainless steel case features subtle coin edge detail and a deep blue ceramic top ring insert. The case also features a barrel crown and double-domed sapphire crystal.
Barrel Crown: The Canfield Sport features a barrel crown accented by a signature Shinola bolt. Sapphire is second only to the diamond in hardness, helping protect the watch from scratches.
This midnight blue dial features a classic, matte velvet finish. It’s punctuated with luminous numerals and indices, three sub dials, and a dual calendar aperture that showcases the day and month in the center of the dial, while a fourth hand with a half-moon tip points to the numerical date along the outer rim.
