Gilda Radner: Shinola's Next Great American

In 1975, Gilda Radner made history as an original cast member of Saturday Night Live, helping cement its status as an American tradition. Through her iconic characters, she brought boldness, vulnerability, and a whole lot of weird to our living rooms. And when Gilda was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, she approached it with that same honesty, humor, and heart. Today, her legacy endures in every person supported by Gilda's Club, the cancer support organization created in her honor.

In celebration of her life and legacy, Shinola is proud to present this limited edition Runwell Automatic. It’s a piece that exudes warmth and heart, beginning with a dial and cabochon crown adorned with Red Jasper—a natural gemstone with dark veining that forms within the stone over time. See the watch’s movement at work through the “open heart” window, a fitting tribute to a woman who always wore her heart on her sleeve.
